Origin:                         native of Syria, this plant can be found almost everywhere, especially near river banks , throughout Europe, Asia and the US

Not to be confused with Water Hemlock * Cicuta virosa, a highly poinsonous plant growing widely in both the US & Europe*

Botanical Name:       Arctium lappa (minus) also known as Beggar’s Button, Clotburr,

Origin:                         Harvesting fall to early spring.  Grows wild, global plant.

Powers:                      exorcism, harmony, memory, peace, spell breaking, wisdom, consecration, animals, compassion, protection

Botanical Name:       Acorus Calamus: also sweet flag, sweet sedge, a member of the Arum family, not a member of the Iris family, though having a strong resemblance to the Iris

Origin:                        Originally from Crete, the Greek name calamos=reed, though this plant is abundant globally, it’s rhizomes can be harvested in the late fall through the early spring
